Trekking through the "hidden banks"

The company Architectours, created by an architect and a historian, organises tours that do not appear in tourist guides, among which are treks through the “hidden banks” of the Leça River.

Along ten kilometres, you can follow the course of the river to its mouth, through rural and industrial landscapes. “We will look towards the new Green Corridor, passing the Leixões railway to a small trail at Carro bridge, crossing riverbanks, medieval bridges and ancient watermills, ending with a fabulous view over the Port of Leixões”, explains the organisation.
